LG 42" LED TV

LG 42" LED TV

Here in the studio we like to assure we're getting the best image possible. We hook up our DSLR to this 42" LED tv so we can get the full picture of what we are capturing. The full HD 1920 x 1080 LED panel isn't exactly what 4K video looks like, however we use it anyway! It's great for a stationary stand that allows you to see more than you would on an average display monitor. Something like this would be highly recommend for any studio like environments!  B&H Link: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1119815-REG/lg_42lf5600_42_1080p_led_tv.html

Rode NTG3 Shotgun mic

Rode NTG3 Shotgun mic

We have the Rode NTG3 Shotgun mic in our studio for our clients when we shoot talking head videos. We have had our share of background noises around the studio, anywhere from trains outside to phones ringing. Surprisingly, the NTG3 Shotgun has been killer for not picking much of those noises while our talents are talking. The audio has shown great waveform when we bring it into Adobe Audition and has worked tremendously. Highly recommended mic! New Directive Studios

We have moved the studio to the Directive building on Pony Farm Road! Had our first shoot and it went really well. There are big plans that have been over a year in the making that will begin to get executed. Including vlogs, training videos, commercials and more.  Here's some pics:

New Studio??

I know, another studio move? Well I found out today that we may be getting some additional space in the Directive building on Pony Farm Road. Which means we may be leaving the space on Main Street. This will give us a large studio space on the property and room to add more staff. Which is good because we are at capacity. Having the studio in the building is most ideal. I hope it works out. It will be so much easier to work and get staff involved rather than everyone meeting at the existing studio. Who knows, I may even move my office into the same space as the studio.  We might also move IT down to the first floor location to make it easier for techs and clients to bring PC's and equipment. Not to be like a store front, but I suppose it would be kinda like that. This...
