Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 12-35mm f/2.8 Asph. Lens

Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 12-35mm f/2.8 Asph. Lens

This 2.8 12-35mm lens is officially our number one lens on our GH4! We use it mainly for our standard, “waist and up” shot on our talent. It is a very compact and light-weight lens that comes with many awesome features such the 2.8 brightness that covers the entire zoom range. Works and looks great. Speed Booster EF-M43

Speed Booster EF-M43

By owning a few Canon lenses, we decided to get a hold of the Speed Booster EF-M43 since we have a couple of GH4s in the studio! The speed booster, also known as a speed adapter, is powered by the camera to help adapt third party lenses to the Gh4. Even though we are highly satisfied with the lenses we have for our GH4s, we never know when we could use more of a variety. Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8 Lumix Lens

A new addition to our lens inventory! Looking forward to work a little more with this 35-100mm Lens. So far very satisfied. We're setting this on our second GH4 to get a nice close up while it's at the same distance away from our talent as our 12-35mm Lens. We will see how much more we can do with it in the near future! Heliopan 82mm Variable Gray ND Filter

Heliopan 82mm Variable Gray ND Filter

This variable ND filter from Heliopan is great for photography and shooting video. I primarily got it to shoot with a greater depth of field in bright sunlight when shooting video.  The markings are very helpful and the quality is amazing. I've only played with a couple other filters, but this one wins hands down so far. I also got a step up ring for my 77mm lenses and it works great. I haven't got to use it a lot yet because somehow I bent the step up ring. Just ordered another today.  B&H Link: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/829300-REG/Heliopan_708290_82mm_Variable_Gray_ND.html Heliopan Website: http://www.heliopan.de/produkte/graufilter/ I read about it the first time from Philip Bloom (He's an awesome Director, DP and Fimmaker in the UK): http://philipbloom.net/2011/06/04/the-best-variable-nd-filter-i-have-used/

Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Zoom Lens

Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Zoom Lens

I really love this lens for portraits and I love the image stabilization for video.  Man it's heavy though. It's very sharp and exactly what you would expect from Canon L-Series Glass.  Available at B&H: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/680103-USA/Canon_2751B002_EF_70_200mm_f_2_8L_IS.html

Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Autofocus Lens

I chose this lens as my first wide angle for everything from videos, group photos, night sky and landscape shots and more. It's also great in low light with it's f/2.8. Digital Picture Review:http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-16-35mm-f-2.8-L-II-USM-Lens-Review.aspx

Canon Zoom Wide Angle-Telephoto EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM Autofocus Lens

I use this lens a lot. If I leave with only 1 lens, this one is usually it. It's tack sharp and what you would expect from Canon's L-Series Lenses. It's great for videos and stills. The only thing that bummed me out was a short time after I purchased it, they announced the series II version. If they added Image Stabilization I would have considered it. Without it, it's not enough of an upgrade for the money. The Series II version is also a lot more expensive. If you're on a budget, I would not hesitate picking one up on ebay used.  Digital Picture Review: http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-24-70mm-f-2.8-L-USM-Lens-Review.aspx
